Electrical Supervisor – Commercial & Infrastructure Projects
📍 UK Wide (travel required)
Volantes Renewables Recruitment is supporting a growing UK electrical infrastructure delivery business and we are now looking to speak with an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join their operational delivery team.
This is a hands-on supervisory role overseeing electrical installation, inspection and testing works across multiple live projects. You’ll be responsible for ensuring installations are compliant, safe and delivered to a high standard, while supporting project teams and leading site electricians day-to-day.
This position would suit a senior electrician or working supervisor ready to step into a broader leadership role.
The Role
You will oversee electrical installation activities from planning through to handover, ensuring quality, safety and programme targets are met.
Key responsibilities:
• Supporting Project Managers with planning and resource allocation
• Managing day-to-day schedules for electrical installers
• Producing material take-offs from drawings and coordinating procurement
• Ensuring all installations comply with BS7671
• Reviewing and challenging RAMS and programmes of work
• Carrying out site H&S audits and delivering toolbox talks
• Inspection, testing and certification of installations (NICEIC or equivalent)
• Assisting with project completion and handover documentation
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer experience
Requirements
• Proven experience supervising electrical installation teams
• Commercial or industrial electrical installation background
• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification
• 18th Edition (BS7671:2018 Wiring Regulations)
• Inspection & Testing – C&G 2391 (or equivalent)
• JIB / CSCS Card
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong leadership and communication skills
Desirable
• SSSTS
• Authorised Person – Low Voltage
• Experience with EV charging installations (beneficial but not essential)
