Description:

Accountable for the management, leadership, delivery and compliance of the GES LHR On-Wing Operations function. Ensuring all operational activities are carried out IAW the relevant company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and safety legislations. Reporting directly into the Head of GES EMEA.

Role Accountabilities:

- Operational performance and delivery via execution of the delivery plan / schedule - Adherence to company HSE, safety, quality and compliance standards, policies and procedures - Functional adherence and compliance to regulatory legislation and company approvals (MOE) - Delivery reporting and data analysis to identify and implement process improvements - Operational delivery in line with budget forecasts - Lead, coach and develop the On-Wing operations team - Resource management in line with HR policies and procedures - Ensuring capability, training and competence in line with strategic operational demand profile - Collaborate and communicate effectively within muti-functional and diverse teams - Communicate and build strong connections with colleagues, suppliers, partners and customers - Read, interpret and understand approved technical data (e.g. AMM, EM, SB’S, AD’S) - Support regulatory, customer and internal audits - Implementation of new capabilities to enable future growth - Sponsor, lead and co-ordinate operational improvement projects - lead and support quality and compliance investigations (5 why & RCA) - Support long term load and capacity planning - Able to work flexible hours and available for ad-hoc functional escalations outside of normal operating hours

Experience & Qualifications:

- Experience of managing and leading large teams in an aviation / MRO / 145 maintenance environment - Depth of knowledge of 145 regulations, approved maintenance data, human factors and SMS - Familiarisation of AMOS or other MRP systems is preferable

Compliance and Safety Engineer

Description:

Supports the Compliance Monitoring & Safety Manager in providing Compliance Monitoring and SMS oversight of the business, conducts and follows up on internal and external audits to ensure compliance across all areas and functions of the organisation.

Role Accountabilities:

- Conducting internal and external scheduled / unscheduled audits in accordance with the audit plan and ensuring non-conformances are corrected within agreed timeframes

- Ensures company policies, procedures and the MOEs are maintained in compliance with the applicable competent authority regulations.

- Conducting investigations and preparing reports on quality, technical and maintenance issues with RCA for the Authorities, Compliance / Quality Manager and the Accountable Manager as appropriate

- Engineering degree in aviation qualified, or equivalent, - More than 5 years’ experience in aircraft or engine maintenance, - Have carried out training and either have experience as or are currently a Part 145 qualified auditor - Knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety rules, Human Factors, Human performance / limitations, and

associated regulations as they apply to aircraft / engine maintenance. - Experience in Civil Aviation Part 145 organization Compliance Monitoring / QMS and SMS, experience in Part
