Volantes Technical Recruitment currently recruiting for B1.3 Licensed Engineers based at their Staverton site. The B1.3 Licensed Engineer would be reporting to the Chief Engineer and would be joining a dynamic and progressive Engineering Team. You will be primarily responsible for the delivery of serviceable aircraft and engineering facilities, capable of fulfilling the operational requirements of our customers. This role is based at Staverton however on occasion, the B1.3 Licensed Engineer may be required to perform line maintenance away from Staverton.

• Previous aircraft base maintenance experience with a wide knowledge and skill range in servicing, inspection repair and modifications
• The ability to work alone and the willingness to travel. This role is shift based primarily at our Staverton HQ but may require cover across the whole country to support AOG situations as necessary

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role with full accountability for ensuring the Engineering Department complies with regulatory requirements set by the Competent Authority and Compliance Monitoring.

• Oversight and hands-on support across all areas of Base/Line maintenance and support activities, including sub-contracted maintenance providers
• Control and standard of performance of the maintenance department, including day-to-day administration of personnel
