Volantes Technical Recruitment is currently supporting a defence and aviation training organisation in the search for a Ground Crew Instructor to join their team based at Middle Wallop, Hampshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering specialist training to Army Air Corps Phase Two trainees and students, helping develop the next generation of military aviation professionals.
The Role
As a Ground Crew Instructor, you will deliver both classroom and practical training focused on refuelling operations and military refuel vehicles, ensuring trainees develop the knowledge and practical skills required for operational environments.
This position offers the chance to combine technical expertise with instructional delivery, while contributing to a highly respected military aviation training programme.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver classroom and practical instruction on military refuel vehicles and refuelling operations

Develop training materials, lesson plans and supporting documentation

Maintain subject matter expertise and training currency

Support fleet maintenance oversight and fuel account management

Track and report trainee progress and performance
Essential Experience

Experience delivering training or instruction in a structured environment

Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office for developing training materials and presentations

Hands-on experience with military refuel vehicles
Required Qualifications

ADR Licence (Modules 1, 2, 3, 4*, 6)

Full UK Driving Licence with C+E Category
Desirable Qualifications

Defence Instructional Technique (or equivalent)

ADR (HAZMAT) Instructor (DST Registered)
