About the Role
Volantes Technical Recruitment are seeking experienced B1 and B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers to join a leading business aviation maintenance operation based at Bournemouth Airport.

As part of this position, you’ll play a key role in supporting a diverse fleet through high-quality maintenance and certification standards in a modern, well-equipped facility. Type training and development are available for the right individuals.

Candidates already holding one or more of these type ratings will be prioritised, though training opportunities are available for strong applicants with relevant experience on similar types.
Key Responsibilities

Perform and certify planned, unscheduled, and ad-hoc maintenance to the highest standard.

Supervise and sign off work carried out by unlicensed engineers.

Ensure compliance with Part-145, company procedures, and all regulatory requirements.

Maintain valid licences, approvals, and type ratings.

Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.

Uphold exceptional standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping.

Support planning and scheduling teams to ensure smooth maintenance operations.
Requirements
Essential
-
Unrestricted UK CAA Part 66 Licence (B1 or B2)

Proven base maintenance experience with strong technical ability

Up-to-date recency for certifying privileges

Strong teamwork and communication skills
Desirable

One or more of the preferred type ratings listed above

Experience within business aviation or mixed fleet environments
