POSITION: Workshop Technician – Blade
LOCATION: Abu Dhabi (or assigned location within the UAE)
CONTRACT TYPE: Full-Time, Long-Term
Basic Function and Scope
Support the Workshop Supervisor in performing unit and intermediate-level maintenance, inspection, and repairs on aircraft blades and composite structures.
Qualifications

High school diploma
-
Completion of a formal aircraft blade and/or composite structures training course from an accredited military or civilian aeronautical institution
-
Familiarity with The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS) is preferred
Experience
-
Minimum 5 years of experience working with aircraft blades and composite structures
Language Skills
-
Must be able to read, write, and understand English
Key Responsibilities
-
Perform repair of aircraft blades and composite structures according to approved procedures
-
Mix and apply materials such as epoxy resins, fiberglass, carbon fiber, Kevlar, etc.

Apply corrosion prevention control (CPC) treatments
-
Manage hazardous materials and maintain appropriate storage facilities
-
Requisition and maintain stock for composite and blade repairs
-
Complete and maintain maintenance records in line with applicable directives

Assist in the training of host national personnel in blade/composite maintenance

Maintain tools and equipment inventory
Additional Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is desirable

Must be willing to travel or relocate to Forward Operating Bases (FOBs) for short or long rotations as required

Valid driving license required
