POSITION: Technical Inspector – Airbus H145
LOCATION: Abu Dhabi
CONTRACT TYPE: Full-Time, Long-Term


Basic Function and Scope

The Technical Inspector is responsible for clearing all maintenance activities and releasing aircraft to service after scheduled or unscheduled maintenance and repairs. This includes ensuring proper documentation and historical records of all aircraft work carried out in compliance with relevant standards and procedures.


Qualifications

  • Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance

  • EASA Part-66 B1.3 license (or equivalent)

  • OEM/Approved Part-147 Airframe & Engine type rating course completion


Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of experience on H145 and

  • At least 5 years holding CRS privileges or working as a Technical Inspector

  • Experience in both line (AVUM) and heavy maintenance (AVIM) preferred

  • Familiarity with maintenance planning documents and aircraft record-keeping

  • Quality Control and certification experience on modifications preferred


Language Skills

  • Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking)


Key Responsibilities

  1. Review and audit technical records to ensure airworthiness

  2. Inspect aircraft and components during maintenance activities

  3. Monitor Work-In-Progress and ensure regulatory documentation compliance

  4. Maintain historical records to avoid overflight of components

  5. Execute OEM bulletins and maintenance directives accurately

  6. Oversee quality control for aircraft modifications

  7. Measure and validate component installations to required tolerances

  8. Step in for the QC Supervisor as required

  9. Support off-base QC duties on temporary assignment

  10. Report irregularities affecting safety or airworthiness

  11. Comply with company SOPs

  12. Analyze maintenance trends and problem areas


Supervision

  • Reports to: Supervisor – Quality Control & Engineering

  • No direct reports but may mentor junior staff


Communication & Additional Requirements

  • Must communicate effectively and work well in a team

  • Willingness to travel or relocate to Forward Operating Bases (FOBs) on short notice
