Volantes Technical Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading Australian MRO organisation to support their continued growth.

Based in theCairns, Far North Queensland, this company operates a state-of-the-art heavy maintenance facility servicing both fixed and rotary wing aircraft.

We are currently seeking Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join their experienced team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to live and work in one of Australia's most beautiful regions while progressing your career with a dynamic and expanding operation.

What We're Looking For:

• CASA Part 66 Licence holders (B1/B2)

• Current ASIC card or eligibility to obtain one

• Previous experience in a Part 145 environment

• Proven heavy maintenance background

• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and specifications

• Strong time management, organisational skills, and attention to detail

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines

• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance

• Must hold a current Australian driver's license

Highly Regarded Experience (Not Essential):

• De Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otter (Series 200–400 with PT6 engines)

• ATR 42/72 Series with P&W 120 Series engines

• Dash 8 Series 100–300 (Classic) with P&W 120 Series engines

• Dash 8 Q400 with P&W 150 Series engines
