Volantes Technical Recruitment is proud to be representing a highly regarded and rapidly expanding MRO provider based in Cairns, Far North Queensland.

This is an exciting opportunity for skilled engineers to join a busy overhaul workshop supporting both rotary and fixed-wing operations.

We are seeking experienced engineers with a strong background in aircraft component overhaul, who are ready to step into a permanent role within a professional and forward-thinking maintenance organisation.

What We’re Looking For:

• CASA Part 66 Licensed engineers

• Current ASIC card or eligibility to obtain one

• Demonstrated experience in a Part 145 environment

• Proven overhaul workshop experience (gearboxes, landing gear, drivetrains)

• Excellent understanding of technical manuals, drawings, and specifications

• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines within a team environment

• Strong organisational and time management skills with keen attention to detail

• A proactive approach to safety and compliance

• Must hold a current Australian driver's license

Highly Regarded Experience (Not Essential):

• Bell 212/412 and 206/407 series drive/power train components

• King Air landing gear overhaul

• DHC-6 Twin Otter landing gear overhaul

• Heavy maintenance exposure
