Seasonal Storeperson / Labourer – Carlisle, UK
Contract: 12-month fixed term
Location: Carlisle (7+ months) with detachment to other UK bases during off-season
Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Overview
Volantes Technical Recruitment are seeking a Seasonal Storeperson / Labourer to support operations in Carlisle, with flexibility to assist across other UK bases during the off-season. This role combines hands-on stores responsibilities with a strong focus on working within digital systems and IT platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day stores and warehouse operations
- Assist with stock handling, movement, and organisation
- Work within digital systems to manage inventory and records
- Provide support across multiple UK bases as required during off-season periods
Key Requirements
- Strong IT skills are essential
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly desirable
- Alternatively, strong general IT capability (MS Office, confidence with digital systems)
- Full UK driving licence
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Carlisle area (own accommodation required)
- Willingness to travel for off-season work (travel and accommodation provided)
- Eligible to work in the UK
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Forklift licence
- Dangerous goods handling experience
- Previous stores or aviation experience (or transferable experience from other sectors)
