Job Description

Rotational | Yacht-Based Operation | Global

Volantes Technical Recruitment are proud to be supporting a truly unique aviation operation with the requirement for experienced UKCAA / EASA B1.3 Licensed Engineers holding the H145 type rating.

This is not your standard permanent role

You’ll be joining a high-end, globally mobile operation, supporting helicopter activities aboard a yacht-based platform, operating in some of the most remote and diverse locations in the world.

The Role

As a B1.3 Licensed Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintenance on H145 aircraft
  • Ensuring continued airworthiness and compliance with UKCAA / EASA regulations
  • Supporting helicopter operations in a dynamic, mobile environment
  • Working closely with flight crew and wider onboard technical teams
  • Maintaining high standards of safety, reliability, and documentation

This role supports a global yacht-based aviation setup, often operating in remote regions and supporting specialist missions.

These types of platforms are increasingly used to support advanced marine and exploration activities, combining aviation, engineering, and cutting-edge onboard capabilities

• Rotational contract
• Global travel required
• Accommodation and logistics fully covered
• Long-term opportunity available for the right candidate

What’s on Offer

• Excellent day rate / package 💰
• Unique working environment 🌍
• Strong work-life balance via rotation
• Opportunity to be part of a highly specialised operation

Requirements

• UKCAA or EASA Part-66 B1.3 Licence
• H145 Type Rating (essential)
• Strong line maintenance experience
• Ability to work in remote / offshore environments
• Flexible, professional, and adaptable approach

Why This Role?

If you’re looking to step away from the typical hangar or offshore rotation and take on something genuinely different — this is it.

A rare opportunity to combine aviation engineering with global travel, high-end operations, and a unique technical environment.
