At Volantes Technical Recruitment, we partner with leading aviation operators across the UK and beyond to deliver skilled engineering talent to where it's needed most. We're currently representing a long-standing rotary client in Aberdeen who are looking to add UKCAA B1.3 Licensed Engineers to their team as part of continued fleet support and expansion.

This role is ideal for someone looking to work with a reputable operator in a stable, full-time position with opportunity for long-term progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out and certify scheduled maintenance, modifications, and defect rectification on rotary aircraft

  • Ensure compliance with airworthiness and maintenance standards

  • Issue certifications within scope of your authorisation

  • Report any incidents or quality issues involving aircraft, materials, tooling, or facilities

  • Work effectively within a small, high-performing team environment

 

Essential Requirements

  • UK CAA B1.3 Licence

    • (Consideration may also be given to applicants holding an A Licence with relevant experience)

  • Previous hands-on rotary maintenance experience

  • Experience on AW189 and/or S92 preferred, but not essential
