Volantes Technical Recruitment is proud to partner with a highly respected operator in the aviation sector to support their growing need for a Continuing Airworthiness Planner/Engineer.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join a dynamic team, working at the core of continuing airworthiness and CAMO functions.

In this role, you’ll contribute to the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of aircraft by supporting and overseeing airworthiness activities in line with EASA Part CAMO requirements. You’ll report directly to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager and play an integral part in day-to-day planning and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with airworthiness documentation, modifications, and Airworthiness Directives (ADs)

  • Assist in the development and review of Maintenance Programmes and Reliability Monitoring systems

  • Liaise with internal departments, maintenance providers, and suppliers to support the operational flying programme

  • Maintain, evaluate, and administer technical aircraft records and continuing airworthiness documentation

  • Report findings, discrepancies, and new maintenance data to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager

  • Support ongoing planning tasks in accordance with the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME)

  • Provide general technical and planning support as required by the CAM or delegated authority

 

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Diploma in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a CAMO or airworthiness environment within an airline or MRO

  • Familiar with Airbus and/or Boeing aircraft types

  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced setting

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

  • Confident working independently and as part of a wider team

  • Proficient in MS Office and other computer-based planning systems

Desirable Qualifications & Skills:

  • Aeronautical Engineering Degree or EASA Part 66 B1/B2 Licence

  • Completed approved type courses on large commercial aircraft

  • Training in EASA regulations, specifically Part CAMO

  • Experience using software tools such as CAMP, OASES, AMOS, or similar

Working Conditions:

  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

  • Permanent, full-time position

  • Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as required
