Volantes Technical Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organisation based in Cairns, Far North Queensland.

With a strong reputation for excellence in rotary-wing aircraft maintenance, they are now seeking experienced B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join their high-performing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled engineers to work in a fully equipped heavy maintenance facility while enjoying the lifestyle and climate of one of Australia’s most desirable locations.

What We’re Looking For:

• B1.3 CASA Part 66 Licence

• Current ASIC card or eligibility to obtain one

• Solid Part 145 experience

• Strong heavy maintenance background

• Proven ability to interpret technical documentation and specifications

• High standards of safety, accuracy, and reliability

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team

• Excellent time management and organisational skills

• Must hold a current Australian driver's licence

Highly Regarded Aircraft Experience (Not Essential):

• Bell 212/412 and 206/407 Series

• Airbus Helicopters

• Eurocopter models

• Leonardo AW139
