There are options available for candidates who wish to fully relocate to Germany as well as also the option of working a shift rotation if that suits better.

Your tasks
Ensuring the highest standard of safety and airworthiness
Service and maintenance of the aircraft on a daily basis according to the Approved Maintenance Data as well as unscheduled maintenance that may occur
Correction of all known discrepancies affecting airworthiness and implementation of corrective action entered in work orders/cards in accordance with relevant company procedures
Documentation of all discrepancies, maintenance performed, and all Post Maintenance Check requirements in the appropriate document
Ensuring that aircraft technical log and work order/card entries are correct, clear and complete
Prior to performing a maintenance task or tasks, ensuring that all parts installed are airworthy and meet the requirements of the Type Certificate
Ensuring that all special tools required to perform these tasks have a valid calibration sticker (torque wrench serial numbers are to be referenced on the relevant corrective action document)
Fostering a safe and clean work environment, ensuring the utilization of the HS&E Manual and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (gloves, safety glasses, etc.) when appropriate
Entry of all measurements taken during an inspection on the relevant inspection work card
Ensuring continuous adherence to company policy and procedures

Volantes Technical Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced UKCAA/EASA B1.3 Licensed Engineer (EC225/EC135AS365N3+) based in Kuwait on a 6-6 shift rotation.
The B2 Licensed Engineer will be primarily responsible for the delivery of a serviceable aircraft and engineering facilities capable of fulfilling the operational requirement of the customer. Working with exclusive aircraft including AS365, EC135 and H225, this is a rewarding opportunity for Licensed Engineers to enhance their engineering capabilities, gaining exposure and experience supporting a government contract. This is a fixed term contract position until June 2025.
Responsibilities:
As a B1.3 Licensed Engineer, you will be responsible for the completion and certification of Avionic & Electrical systems related tasks, as defined in the MOE, on the Company’s aircraft either carried out directly or carried out by non-certifying engineers. You must ensure the work is accomplished in accordance with approved data and Company policies and procedures, including:
- Completion of all paperwork and documentation
- The issuing of all approved materials to the work via the Company’s computer systems
- All work is completed using approved tools and ground support equipment
- All work is completed in a safe and appropriate manner considering risk to personnel, property and reputation
- The working environment is approved and appropriate to the task being undertaken
- All tooling is accounted for prior to return to service
- All post maintenance actions have been completed
- Completion of maintenance as directed by the Chief Engineer or Central Planning team.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:
Essential
- An EASA or CAA Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence, category B1.3
- A strong maintenance related technical knowledge of avionics and electrical systems
- A good working knowledge of the regulations and requirements associated with aircraft maintenance, Health & Safety and Human Factors
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with OEM appropriate to helicopter types operated
- The ability to work alone and the willingness to travel. This role is shift based and situated in Kuwait

Advantageous
- Experience in HEMS, SAR or Oil and Gas helicopter operating environments
- Have experience in MD and/or Leonardo helicopters

Volantes Technical Recruitment, on behalf of our long-standing Aberdeen based Rotary client have Permanent Roles available for B1.3 & B2 Engineers.
Our client has positions available in both Line & Base Maintenance.
4 on 4 off, 6 on 6 off shift pattern
Reporting to the Chief Engineer and under the day-to-day supervision of the Shift Supervisor, the position holder will be required to perform base and line maintenance on various Company aircraft types.
Ideally, you will already be type rated on 1 or both of the below aircraft however the client will consider engineers not typed with a view to enrolling you on the next available type course
The Key Responsibilities include:
- Perform /certify / a/c maintenance – Scheduled Maintenance Inspections, MODS and rectification;
- Maintaining acceptable airworthiness and maintenance standards;
- Issue such certifications within the scope of authorisation;
- Reporting on incidents or lapse in quality involving a/c staff, material, plant, tools, equipment, premises or facilities.
Qualifications:
- CAA B1.3 or B2 License.

Volantes Technical Recruitment, on behalf of our long-standing U.K Based Rotary Client have the permanent position of B1.3 Engineer available
This is for their Boscombe Down Base, ideally you will already be rated on the H145 or AW109 Aircraft however the client will consider engineers that aren’t rated with a view to enrolling you on the next available type course.
Duties include but not limited to
- Provide and communicate regular engineering reports to the Head of Maintenance/ Head of Department
- Certify work within the scope of company authorisations
- Carry out both line and base maintenance at any of the clients facilities, and also off-site upon customer demand.
- Undertake all tasks related to aircraft maintenance
- Work with other Departments to ensure smooth operation of the business
- Closely supervise other engineering and support staff as required
- Ensure compliance is maintained to industry requirements and authorities (such as the CAA; EASA etc.)
- Comply with all Continuing Professional Development requirements relevant to the relevant company policies and reporting authority.
- Effective management of all maintenance within your control.
- Computer literate on Microsoft based systems
