UKCAA B1.3 Licensed Engineer 


📍 Aberdeen | Permanent

We're working with  Europe's leading offshore helicopter operators — to source an experienced UKCAA B1.3 Licensed Engineers to join their Aberdeen base.

Operating a fleet that includes the H175, H160, H145, AS365, AW139 and AW169 across the UK, Belgium, France, Germany and Africa, they're a genuinely international business with a strong safety culture and a real investment in their people.

 

The Role

You'll be working as part of an experienced engineering team carrying out line maintenance on the clients fleet, with the opportunity to support base maintenance across their wider network of locations. You'll report into the Chief Engineer and play a key role in keeping aircraft serviceable and operations running smoothly.

Day to day you can expect to be involved in:

  • Carrying out line maintenance to UK CAA and MOE standards
  • Pre-flight checks and daily problem analysis
  • Briefing and debriefing pilots and the Chief Engineer
  • Coordinating with supply chain and stores to ensure parts and materials are available when needed
  • Shift handovers and daily reporting on the maintenance situation

What You'll Need

  • UK CAA Part 66 B1.3 licence — essential
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience as a licensed engineer
  • Experience across multiple aviation environments is a real plus
  • Strong communicator — comfortable dealing with flight crew and engineering teams alike
  • Able to work independently and use initiative in a line environment
  • Proficient with aviation software and MS Office
