Electrical Supervisor

Volantes Renewables Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a growing organisation delivering electrical installation projects across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated electrical professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality installations safely, on time, and to the highest industry standards.
As Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee electrical installation teams, ensuring all work complies with BS7671 while supporting successful project delivery from planning through to completion.
The Role
Reporting into the Operations Team, you will play a key role in coordinating electrical installation activities, managing resources, maintaining quality standards, and supporting Project Managers throughout the lifecycle of each project.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers with the planning and allocation of labour and resources for electrical installation projects.
- Manage the day-to-day schedules of Electrical Installers to maximise efficiency and productivity.
- Produce material take-offs from electrical designs and coordinate the procurement of installation materials.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with the latest BS7671 Wiring Regulations.
- Review, challenge and approve site-specific RAMS and Programmes of Work.
- Carry out regular Health & Safety audits and deliver Toolbox Talks on site.
- Prepare, review and sign off electrical installation certificates in accordance with NICEIC (or equivalent) standards.
- Assist with compiling project handover documentation to ensure successful project completion.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to installation teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain exceptional standards of workmanship and customer service.
- Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role.

Essential Requirements
- Proven experience supervising electrical installation teams.
- Previous experience working on commercial and/or industrial electrical installations.
- City & Guilds Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification.
- City & Guilds BS7671:2018 Wiring Regulations.
- City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) Inspection & Testing qualification.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- JIB/CSCS Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
- SSSTS qualification.
- Authorised Person (Low Voltage).
- Previous experience with EV charging infrastructure (beneficial but not essential).
