We’re supporting a leading EV infrastructure provider with the hire of an EV Installer (Electrician) to support projects across London and the wider UK.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified electrician looking to get involved in the fast-growing EV sector, delivering installations across domestic, commercial and industrial environments.

 

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the installation of EV charging infrastructure, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

This role would suit someone with strong electrical fundamentals, a keen eye for detail, and a professional, customer-focused approach.

You’ll be working across multiple sites, supporting high-profile clients, and contributing to the successful delivery of EV projects.

 

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification (or approved apprenticeship)

  • 1–3 years’ commercial / industrial electrical experience

  • 18th Edition (BS7671)

  • JIB / CSCS Gold Card

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

 

Desirable:

  • Experience installing DC chargers (50kW – 400kW+)

  • City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)

  • SSSTS

  • City & Guilds 2919 (EV Charging Installations)

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Install EV charging points across domestic, commercial, and industrial sites

  • Work from electrical designs, cable calculations, and manufacturer guidelines

  • Ensure installations are compliant with industry standards and regulations

  • Liaise with supervisors and project teams on progress and updates

  • Complete NICEIC certification via online systems

  • Maintain accurate installation and inspection records

  • Report on completed works, including any issues and resolutions

  • Work collaboratively with project managers and wider teams

  • Adhere to all H&S requirements and safe working practices
