Role Overview

 

Volantes Technical Recruitment are seeking a newly certified, Junior Licensed Technician to support maintenance activities on helicopters operated and maintained by the organisation under the supervision of senior certifying staff.

 

This position is intended for technicians who have recently obtained their Part-66 license and are looking to consolidate their practical experience within a structured Part-145 environment.

 

The role contributes to safe maintenance execution, regulatory compliance, and technical quality, while following a progressive development path toward full certification responsibility.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

 

Maintenance Execution Support

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with approved data and work orders.
  • Support senior licensed engineers during:
  • Base and line maintenance inspections
  • Component removals and installations
  • Routine servicing and defect rectification
  • System functional checks
  • Ensure maintenance documentation is properly completed and traceable.
  • Work under supervision until company certification authorisation is granted.

 

 

Technical Development

  • Consolidate theoretical knowledge through practical application.
  • Develop strong familiarity with:
    • AMM, IPC, WDM and OEM documentation
    • Part-145 maintenance procedures
    • Work package structure and documentation flow
    • Actively seek feedback from senior engineers to improve technical judgement and autonomy.
    • Progressively increase scope of responsibility based on demonstrated competence.

 

 

Operational Integration

  • Support hangar operations according to workload priorities.
  • Demonstrate flexibility across assigned technical tasks.
  • Contribute to team efficiency and positive working environment.

 

 

Required Profile

  • Valid EASA Part-66 B1.3 license (recently obtained)
  • Initial practical experience within helicopter maintenance environment preferred
  • Strong technical discipline and attention to detail
  • High level of motivation and willingness to learn
  • Structured and responsible working attitude
