Job Description
Volantes Technical are inviting applications from experienced CAA Type Rated B1.3 Licensed Engineers that are typed on the S92 or AW139, for a permanent position based in the Falkland Islands.
These roles form part of a long-term MOD support programme and are ideal for engineers looking for a unique and rewarding offshore rotation.
Key Responsibilities:

Certification at B1.3 on S92A (AW189 type rating and/or Goodrich Hoist training would be advantageous).

Line maintenance, modifications, repairs, and component changes on S92/AW189 aircraft as required.

Ensure all maintenance tasks are carried out in line with CAA regulations and internal standards.

Support continuous improvement of engineering standards and procedures.

Work within agreed timescales to maintain aircraft availability and operational readiness.

Regular communication with the Chief Engineer to report maintenance status.

Aircraft ground handling duties, including marshalling and refuelling.

Mentoring and supervision of trainees where required.
Candidate Requirements:

CAA Part 66 B1.3 Licence with S92 type rating.

Demonstrable experience performing safe, effective aircraft maintenance operations.

Capable of working under pressure in varied weather conditions.

Eligibility to work in the Falkland Islands or meet relevant work permit requirements.

Competency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, eMX, RAMCO) preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

A proactive team player with flexibility to support operations in remote locations.
