Job Description

Volantes Technical Recruitment, on behalf of our long standing Aberdeen based Rotary client have the permanent role of Sheet Metal Worker available.

This is a full time perm role, working 6/4/4 shift pattern.

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the position holder will be required to undertake the maintenance, repair and modification of helicopter structural components and helicopter structures in a Base Maintenance, Line and Workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in aviation sheet metal work – City and Guilds or equivalent.

Experience

• Experience carrying out sheet metal repairs to rotary or fixed wing aircraft.

Skills

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and produce work to the tolerances given.
• Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems.
• Willingness to work rotating shift patterns.
• Excellent adaptable team worker, with good work and safety ethics.
• Motivated to provide a high standard of work.
