Job Description

Volantes Technical Recruitment, on behalf of our Germany based Rotary client have the role of EASA B1.3 Engineer available.

 

This is for their Emden base, working on their fleet of H145 Aircraft.

 

The Role

 

  • 7 on 7 off shift plan which equals to an average fo 35 hours per week
  • Working in rotation with 3 other engineers
  • Although based in Emden there may be travel to the clients other stations at times

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • As Certifying Staff, you will carry out regular or unscheduled maintenance, modifications, troubleshooting and fault finding on the clients aircraft and components, as assigned and instructed, taking into account current regulations. You will plan the necessary spare parts, tools and resources, taking into account deadlines and efficient resource planning.
  • You will ensure compliance with work standards, the transfer of information and thus the optimisation of workflows and processes.
  • You will carefully document the work carried out and the results of inspections and checks in accordance with the specifications.
  • You will regularly check the tools provided for completeness and their condition (calibration if necessary). In addition, you pay attention to safety regulations, accident prevention regulations and occupational health and safety.

 

Qualifications

 

  • EASA B1.3 & Holding the H145 Type Rating
  • Ideally you will already have 2+ years certifying experience on the aircraft and good knowledge of European and national aviation law
  • Independent working style, ability to work in a team and good knowledge of English
  • Willingness to travel and work outside of regular working hours
