This is a full-time role at their Oxford base.
Monday – Friday shift pattern.
Our client offers considerable experience in helicopter sales, bespoke completions, maintenance and spares support. Its in-house engineering capabilities include design, customisation, installation, flight-testing and certification, as well as technical support, maintenance, training and the supply of spares for civil and military applications.
Responsibilities of the role
The successful candidate would be Responsible for the management and production of maintenance programmes, review of airworthiness documentation, maintenance and materials planning and update of technical records. The location for this role will be based between Oxford and Shawbury sites.
Main responsibilities
- Perform reviews of all forms of technical information from the regulatory authorities and OEMs in a timely and consistent manner, this will include, but is not limited to Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Major/Minor Modifications and Repairs.
- Follow the company procedures in order to ensure compliance.
- Periodical review, development and implementation of Aircraft Maintenance Programmes and associated aircraft configuration.
- Provide support during Airworthiness Reviews and ARC Extensions.
- Complete repetitive defect and reliability analysis.
- Review and update aircraft flight manuals.
- Review technical logs and enter utilisation data onto the MIS.
- Line and Base maintenance planning.
- Preparation and review of maintenance variations.
- Materials planning and raise reservations/purchase requisitions for required materials.
- Updating aircraft and engines records with maintenance task accomplishment details.
- Return of component log cards to the material management team for core returns.
- Provide cross functional support across the CAMO team.
- Continually improve CAMO processes & procedures to enhance overall efficiency.
- Perform other duties as required by the Continuing Airworthiness Manager or designated deputy.
Education, Qualifications or Training
- Minimum 5 GCSE’s Grade C or above or equivalent recognised qualifications (e.g. NVQ, BTEC).
Desirable
- Aviation related degree or equivalent.
- Aviation human factors training undertaken.
- Recognised Part-CAMO Training Course accomplished.
- Recognised Part-145 Training Course accomplished.
Additional requirements
- Due to the nature of this position you will require DBS Security Clearance and be eligible for SC clearance.

Your tasks
Ensuring the highest standard of safety and airworthiness
Service and maintenance of the aircraft on a daily basis according to the Approved Maintenance Data as well as unscheduled maintenance that may occur
Correction of all known discrepancies affecting airworthiness and implementation of corrective action entered in work orders/cards in accordance with relevant company procedures
Documentation of all discrepancies, maintenance performed, and all Post Maintenance Check requirements in the appropriate document
Ensuring that aircraft technical log and work order/card entries are correct, clear and complete
Prior to performing a maintenance task or tasks, ensuring that all parts installed are airworthy and meet the requirements of the Type Certificate
Ensuring that all special tools required to perform these tasks have a valid calibration sticker (torque wrench serial numbers are to be referenced on the relevant corrective action document)
Fostering a safe and clean work environment, ensuring the utilization of the HS&E Manual and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (gloves, safety glasses, etc.) when appropriate
Entry of all measurements taken during an inspection on the relevant inspection work card

The Role

Summary
To Senior Compliance Monitoring (CM) Officer role is responsible for ensuring that all aviation maintenance and support functions align and comply with platform specific OEM specifications (Leonardo AW139) and technical data, quality and safety standards, regulatory requirements, and PAC requirements.
The Senior Compliance Monitoring Officer leads, oversees and performs compliance inspections on maintenance and servicing activities to ensure they are carried out in accordance with approved technical data and local instructions.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Follow the day-to-day operations to monitor, audit, and report compliance against published technical data, policy, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure safety and airworthiness.
- Provide guidance and direction to the workforce on any issue relating to Compliance Monitoring.
- Assist with the internal audit program by providing platform specific subject matter expertise with compliance-related issues, such as providing data to auditors as requested and participating in implementing corrective actions to address non-conformities.

- equipment and/or parts meet manufacturer and industry standards.
Training and Development
- Assist with the identification of training/instruction requirements (as applicable) to address deficiencies identified during technician evaluations.
- Where directed or needful, deliver Compliance/Safety/Quality Awareness briefings to employees and the Customer community to engage and influence employee and Customer support and buy-in.
Policies & Procedures
- Follow all applicable policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a standardized manner.
Compliance Monitoring Management
- Support the deployment and development of capable competent professionals to undertake monitoring and surveillance activities within the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure maintenance and repair services comply with Customer, PAC, and Regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and conduct random checks / sampling on the performance of assigned staff and Operations Technicians to ensure they are fully qualified to carry out their responsibilities.
- Investigate quality complaints and violations, recommend Corrective Action (CA), and ensure all related follow-up activities are completed.
Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety
- Comply with all Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
- Support the quality and safety management systems through surveillance and monitoring activities to identify and report any issue that impacts the safety and exposes PAC and its employees to risk.
Continuous Improvement
- Wherever possible, leverage benchmarks and best practices to drive and exploit continuous improvement within PAC.

Qualifications
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of aviation safety standards, regulations (FAA, EASA or equivalent), and best practices in quality management.
- Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or similar certification is highly desirable. Preferably with Aviation emphasis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Experience
- Minimum 10-15 years working in (Aviation) Quality Assurance
- Minimum 5 as a (Aviation) Quality Assurance Manager
- Must be able to read & write in English
