Volantes Technical Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced UK CAA B1 Licensed Engineers with current B737 and A320 type ratings for an ongoing contract opportunity with our client in St Athan, South Wales.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy Part-145 maintenance environment on a long-term contract, with an attractive shift pattern.

- Hours: 07:00 – 19:00

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance activities on B737 and A320 aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance data and Part-145 procedures.
- Ensure all maintenance documentation and associated paperwork is completed accurately and within the required timescales.
- Take responsibility for work carried out by team members allocated to assist with maintenance tasks.
- Liaise with management regarding progress, manpower requirements, critical-path activities and any third-party support required.
- Maintain high engineering standards across task control, tooling, housekeeping and workplace cleanliness.
- Ensure FOD prevention and rectification procedures are followed at all times.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- UK CAA Part-66 B1 Licence.
- B737 and A320 type ratings.
- Demonstrable 6 months' recency within the previous 2 years on the relevant aircraft types.
- Previous experience working within a Part-145 maintenance environment.
- Full right to work in the UK.
- Availability to start at short notice.
Highly Desirable:
- Dual UK CAA and EASA Part-66 B1 licences.
