About the Role

Volantes Technical Recruitment are seeking experienced UK CAA B1 Licensed Engineers to join a well-established maintenance operation based at Glasgow Airport.

This position offers a fantastic opportunity for career-minded engineers looking for long-term stability, excellent work-life balance, and ongoing type training. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and certify base and line maintenance activities at Glasgow Airport.

  • Supervise and sign off work completed by unlicensed engineers where applicable.

  • Undertake AOG support both locally and occasionally at other bases.

  • Ensure maintenance is completed in accordance with company procedures and Part-145 requirements.

  • Maintain strong communication with operations and planning teams to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Uphold high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping within the working environment.

  • When required, assist commercial teams by providing maintenance estimates or technical insight.

  • Be flexible to travel to other UK bases for short-term assignments as required.

 

Requirements

Essential

  • Unrestricted UK CAA Part 66 B1 Licence

  • Proven experience in base or line maintenance

  • Flexible and willing to travel when required

  • Computer-literate with strong communication skills

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Eligible for UK security clearance

Desirable

  • Experience on Cessna Citation and/or King Air aircraft

  • Previous certifying engineer experience within a similar operation
