Part-145 Trainer
Location: Bournemouth
Hours: Full-time - 40 hours per week
Volantes Technical Recruitment is on the lookout for an experienced Part-145 Trainer to join one of our longstanding client’s team. This role is responsible for the delivery, development, and ongoing maintenance of technical training across their engineering workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compliant technical training online and face-to-face, including at international locations.
- Develop and deliver Continuation and Recurrent Training.
- Deliver training in EWIS, FTS, and Human Factors.
- Identify training requirements and support the development of targeted training solutions.
- Develop the skills required to deliver aircraft-related training courses.
- Ensure all training delivery and materials remain fully compliant.
- Create, author, and maintain training materials and supporting documentation.
- Support the training department during internal and external audits.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of training delivery and processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation relevant to technical training.
- Commit to ongoing personal and professional development within the aerospace sector.
- Deliver additional training as required to meet business needs.
Essential Requirements, Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Qualification in adult learning or proven experience designing and delivering training.
- Previous experience within a Part-145, Part-147, or Part-21 environment or transferable instructional or teaching experience at A-level / HNC or higher.
- Ability to deliver training in EWIS, FTS, Human Factors, and Continuation/Recurrent Training.
- Strong working knowledge of EWIS requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organised, adaptable, and able to manage change effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to travel to other company locations as required.
Desirable Experience
- QTS / QLTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience delivering aircraft maintenance training.
- Current knowledge of CAA/EASA Parts 66 / 145 / 21 regulations.
- Ability to demonstrate a practical understanding of the above regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in the use of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation.
