About the Role
Volantes Technical Recruitment are seeking experienced UK CAA B1 Licensed Engineers to join a well-established maintenance operation based at Glasgow Airport.

Key Responsibilities
-
Perform and certify base and line maintenance activities at Glasgow Airport.

Supervise and sign off work completed by unlicensed engineers where applicable.

Undertake AOG support both locally and occasionally at other bases.

Ensure maintenance is completed in accordance with company procedures and Part-145 requirements.

Maintain strong communication with operations and planning teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Uphold high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping within the working environment.

When required, assist commercial teams by providing maintenance estimates or technical insight.

Be flexible to travel to other UK bases for short-term assignments as required.
Requirements
Essential
-
Unrestricted UK CAA Part 66 B1 Licence

Proven experience in base or line maintenance

Flexible and willing to travel when required

Computer-literate with strong communication skills

Full UK Driving Licence

Eligible for UK security clearance
Desirable

Experience on Cessna Citation and/or King Air aircraft

Previous certifying engineer experience within a similar operation
