Volantes Technical Recruitment, on behalf of our UAE based Rotary client have the permanent role of Senior Compliance Monitoring Officer (AW139) available.
This is a full-time permanent role that would involve full relocation to the area if you aren’t already based there.
Summary
To Senior Compliance Monitoring (CM) Officer role is responsible for ensuring that all aviation maintenance and support functions align and comply with platform specific OEM specifications (Leonardo AW139) and technical data, quality and safety standards, regulatory requirements, and PAC requirements.
The Senior Compliance Monitoring Officer leads, oversees and performs compliance inspections on maintenance and servicing activities to ensure they are carried out in accordance with approved technical data and local instructions.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Follow the day-to-day operations to monitor, audit, and report compliance against published technical data, policy, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure safety and airworthiness.
- Provide guidance and direction to the workforce on any issue relating to Compliance Monitoring.
- Assist with the internal audit program by providing platform specific subject matter expertise with compliance-related issues, such as providing data to auditors as requested and participating in implementing corrective actions to address non-conformities.
- Prioritize work to ensure quality support is delivered in the most effective manner.
- Provide any local training/familiarization arising from investigations as required.
- Maintain an effective internal and external network with all stakeholders using established lines of communication
Compliance Monitoring
- Provide support to and, where necessary, lead simple and routine investigations and studies assigned by line management.
- Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to Supervisor.
- Follow up on investigations to confirm the effectiveness of corrective action that has been implemented. Undertake regular stage checks to confirm that the progression to resolution is maintained and report any stagnation or lack of progress to the Quality Mission Assurance Manager.
Carry out compliance sampling utilizing evaluations and inspections to ensure :
- technical competency of staff
- currency of technical data
- serviceability of components,
- equipment and/or parts meet manufacturer and industry standards.
Training and Development
- Assist with the identification of training/instruction requirements (as applicable) to address deficiencies identified during technician evaluations.
- Where directed or needful, deliver Compliance/Safety/Quality Awareness briefings to employees and the Customer community to engage and influence employee and Customer support and buy-in.
Policies & Procedures
- Follow all applicable policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a standardized manner.
Compliance Monitoring Management
- Support the deployment and development of capable competent professionals to undertake monitoring and surveillance activities within the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure maintenance and repair services comply with Customer, PAC, and Regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and conduct random checks / sampling on the performance of assigned staff and Operations Technicians to ensure they are fully qualified to carry out their responsibilities.
- Investigate quality complaints and violations, recommend Corrective Action (CA), and ensure all related follow-up activities are completed.
Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety
- Comply with all Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
- Support the quality and safety management systems through surveillance and monitoring activities to identify and report any issue that impacts the safety and exposes PAC and its employees to risk.
Continuous Improvement
- Wherever possible, leverage benchmarks and best practices to drive and exploit continuous improvement within PAC.
Reports
- Document inspection results by completing reports and inputting data into appropriate databases.
- Ensure aircraft documents are completed in full and records maintained to ensure full traceability.
- Where directed, support the Management Review of Quality (MRoQ) to provide detailed information on investigation results.
