Job Description

Volantes Technical Recruitment, on behalf of our long-standing Rotary client have positions available for EASA B1.3 Engineers that are holding 1 or both the below Aircraft Types.

 

  • AW139
  • AW189

 

The ideal candidate will be looking to relocate to the Netherlands or already be based there as  the client would be keen to have you permanently based there with a view to 2 or 3 28 day rotations to Curucao or possibly someone that would be keen to relocate to Curucao altogether.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Certification at B1.3 level on AW139 & AW189 type rating (and Goodrich Hoist training would be an advantage);
  • Line maintenance, modification, repairs, and component changes on AW139/AW189 and other aircraft required;
  • Ensure that all maintenance tasks carried out meet the standard to NL EASA regulations;
  • Help maintain / improve Company standards;
  • Ensure that all maintenance is completed within the appropriate time scales to ensure provision of serviceable aircraft to meet the operational expectations;
  • Inform and update the Chief Engineer on the maintenance situation;
  • Marshalling, refuelling, ground handling of aircraft;
  • Where assigned, mentor trainees.

 

The successful candidate must

 

  • Be an experienced AW 139 and AW189 B1.3 type rated engineer;
  • EASA Part 66 B1.3 license holder;
  • Proven track record of performing aircraft maintenance operations in a safe, efficient, and effective manner (proof of work 6 months last 24 months);
  • Have the ability to work in all weathers and under time pressure;
  • Must be eligible to either work in the Netherlands and Curaçao or be able to meet work permit requirements;
  • Good communication skills Dutch and English, both verbal and written;
  • Ability to work effectively within a small team;
  • Flexibility to support a remote operation such as Curaçao.
