PROGRAM / DEPT: PAC/ QUALITY & ENGINEERING LOCATION: ABU DHABI JOB TITLE: TECHNICAL INSPECTOR – AW139 ITAR RESTRICTED: Yes No BASIC FUNCTION AND SCOPE (SUMMARY) Technical Inspector is a technical expert for assigned aircraft and is responsible for clearing all the critical (Grounding-X, Circled-X) & releasing aircraft to service after unscheduled/scheduled maintenance and repair actions on assigned aircraft/components. Technical Inspector is responsible for the daily “by the book” maintenance/repair of all relevant aircraft/components and the proper completion of the aircraft's daily maintenance and historical records. QUALIFICATIONS Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance & part 66 B1.3 license or equivalent on the type of aircraft. Must have completed OEM/ Approved Part 147 Airframe & Engine type rating course. EXPERIENCE 1. Minimum of 7 Years Experience on the AW139 with 5 Years held the privilege of
Certificate of Release to Service(CRS) or Technical Inspector.
2. Both Line Maintenance(AVUM) and Heavy Maintenance(AVIM) level experience is
preferred.
3. Quality Control/Certifying Staff experience on aircraft modifications preferred.
4. Familiar with Maintenance Planning Documents( e.g. AW139 AMPI).
5. Familiar with entries on aircraft records(e.g. log books & log cards).
LANGUAGE SKILLS Must be able to read, write, and understand English. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Review and audit technical records that support the airworthiness of all aircraft, aircraft parts/components by applicable regulations & technical publications.
2. Perform inspection of aircraft and components during their removal, disassembly, assembly, installation, and adjustment phases of incorporation onto an aircraft. Ensures the workmanship and materials conform to the aircraft manufacturer's specifications and required maintenance manual procedures.

3. Ensure that all Work-In-Progress is properly documented and that corrective actions used will be recorded by regulatory requirements and approved SOP's.
4. Responsible for all the proper aircraft historical record updates, resulting in no overflights of the component SSL, overhaul, or retirement schedule.
5. Responsible for the timely and accurate execution of all OEM Bulletins, Maintenance, and Safety messages.
6. Responsible for the proper Quality Control oversight of all aircraft modifications for the relevant aircraft as required.
7. Determine the accuracy of installation of aircraft components by using a protractor, micrometer, calipers, and gauges to ensure that specified tolerances are met.
8. Perform duties of Quality Control Supervisor in his absence, and any other duty appointed by his superiors.
9. Perform QC duties away from base on temporary duty as required.
10. Report any irregularities in daily standard practices used that would cause injury to personnel or deem the aircraft unsafe or non-airworthy and advise the QC Supervisor in the evaluation of maintenance actions performed.
11. Comply with all the company's SOPs.
12. Review aircraft records to determine discrepancy trends and specific problem areas. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

OTHER FACTORS Must be willing to travel or relocate to Forward Operating Bases (FOBs), for short or long rotations, in support of the company’s mission requirements.
