Volantes Technical Recruitment are seeking experienced B1 and B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers to join a leading business aviation maintenance operation based at Bournemouth Airport.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and certify planned, unscheduled, and ad-hoc maintenance to the highest standard.

• Supervise and sign off work carried out by unlicensed engineers.

• Ensure compliance with Part-145, company procedures, and all regulatory requirements.

• Maintain valid licences, approvals, and type ratings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and certify line maintenance and AOG tasks to the highest safety and regulatory standards.

• Deliver rapid response maintenance across multiple locations using Mobile Service Team vehicles.

• Coordinate line and AOG events from initiation to completion, ensuring efficient communication and timely resolution.

• Ensure the MST vehicle is fully stocked, maintained, and deployment-ready at all times.

• Maintain full compliance with Part-145 and all company maintenance procedures.

• Adhere to health, safety, and COSHH requirements at all times.

• Provide accurate recordkeeping and effective communication with planning and operations teams.

Requirements

Essential

• Unrestricted UK CAA Part 66 B1 Licence with at least one of the listed aircraft type ratings.

• Proven line and base maintenance experience, ideally with AOG or mobile support exposure.

• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Full UK Driving Licence and valid passport.

• Flexible and able to travel at short notice.

This is a senior leadership role, reporting to the Accountable Manager, with responsibility for the safe and efficient management of all rotary-wing operations in line with CASA PNG regulations, OGP guidelines, and BARS requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the management and oversight of rotary-wing flight operations in accordance with CAR 119.51(b) and company policy.

• Maintain flying currency as a backup pilot to support operational needs.

• Ensure all operations comply with applicable aviation legislation, company approvals, and operational manuals.

• Oversee flight crew administration, including rostering, record-keeping, and monitoring of crew licensing, qualifications, and recency.

• Establish and manage systems for pilot and crew training and checking, including emergency procedures and regulatory requirements.

• Liaise with aviation authorities and internal departments on operational matters.

• Conduct visits to remote operational sites as required.

• Provide regular weekly and monthly operational reports to senior management.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 5,000 hours total flying experience.

• ATPL (Helicopter).

• IFR experience highly regarded.

• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to foster safety and professionalism.

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Deputy Rotary Wing Chief Pilot to support and lead their rotary operations across Papua New Guinea. This is a critical leadership position, reporting directly to the CEO, and will be responsible for the direction, compliance, and safety of flight operations in accordance with CASA PNG regulations, OGP guidelines, and BARS requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversight of all rotary wing operations and flight standards

• Maintain operational compliance with CASA PNG and internal company policies
