Role Overview

We are seeking a Junior AW139 Technician to support maintenance activities on AW139 helicopters under the supervision of senior licensed engineers in accordance with EASA Part-145 requirements and company procedures.

The position provides hands-on technical support and progressively builds technical competence in troubleshooting, inspections, and maintenance execution. The role contributes to safety, regulatory compliance, technical quality, and on-time aircraft delivery.

Based on operational needs, the technician may also support AOG recovery activities and assist during pre-purchase inspections under supervision.

This position supports additional training and professional development for candidates who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, and long-term potential.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

AW139 Maintenance Support

 

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on AW139 helicopters under supervision.

Assist certifying staff within the scope of assigned tasks.

 

Execute and support:

  • Base and line maintenance inspections
  • Component removals and installations
  • Structural and mechanical defect rectification under supervision

 

Technical Development & Learning

 

Develop practical knowledge of AW139 systems and maintenance procedures.

Interpret and apply AMM, IPC, WDM and OEM documentation under guidance.

Support basic fault isolation and troubleshooting activities.

Actively learn from senior technicians and progressively increase autonomy.

Demonstrate curiosity and willingness to understand system logic and failure patterns.

 

Operational Flexibility

 

Support hangar operations based on workload priorities.

Demonstrate flexibility across assigned technical tasks.

Contribute positively to team productivity and operational efficiency.

 

Required Profile

 

1–2 years of documented hands-on experience on AW139 helicopters

Experience within an EASA Part-145 organisation preferred

Strong attention to detail and disciplined work approach

High level of focus and reliability

Flexible mindset and strong motivation to learn

Ability to work effectively within a team environment
