Component Certifying Staff

Location: Bergamo, Italy

Key Responsibilities:

• Disassemble, clean, inspect, test, and assemble aircraft wheels and brakes within your approval scope

• Identify and rectify defects found during inspection

• Certify maintenance work carried out by yourself and others (within authorisation limits)

• Complete and sign off job cards using approved maintenance data

• Issue release documentation, including EASA Form 1 (within approval scope)

• Distribute tasks based on team qualifications, workload, and priorities

• Support and train new staff or trainees when required

• Ensure proper use and storage of tools and equipment in line with approved manuals

Requirements:

• Relevant technical qualification such as:

  • Vocational training/apprenticeship in aircraft wheels and brakes

  • Aircraft Maintenance License (AML)

  • Aeronautical diploma or technical school certificate

  • Military technical qualification (aviation related)

• Recent practical maintenance experience (within the last 12 months) in an approved aircraft or component maintenance organisation

• Ability to read and understand technical maintenance data (English)

• Experience using AMOS ERP system is advantageous
