Job Description
Volantes Technical Recruitment are seeking a Fleet Airworthiness engineer for a role with a leading Helicopter Operator in the UAE.
The role will be full relocation with a married accompanied position working Monday to Friday.
Main Responsibilities/Duties

Fleet Airworthiness Engineers are required to carry out:
- Airworthiness reviews in accordance with CAR-M regulations and the CAME procedures.
- Maintenance reviews on a regular basis.
- Generate airworthiness directive and service bulletin reports for the ARC processes.
- Review the modification status of the aircraft.
- Check the weight and balance of the aircraft to ensure it correlates to the RFM or AFM.
- Conduct physical surveys of the aircraft and report any deficiencies to the Senior Manager Engineering and Liaise with the GCAA on matters related to the endorsement or issuance of the C of A or ARC.
- Generate reports to notify Engineering and Airworthiness management of the airworthiness status of the aircraft.
- Maintain the required level of independence in relation to ARC activities.
- Adhere to followed laws and procedures and Engineering Director’s Memos
- Adhere to health, Safety and Environmental regulations, and policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as detailed in the Company Safety Management System Manual including applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements

- Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or equivalent as per GCAA CAR-M.
- Accepted by the GCAA as an ARC Assessor.
- Holder of a company authorization.
- Familiarisation training on the aircraft types operated by ADA for the purpose of holding the ARC approval.

Experience & Knowledge:
|
Essential:
- At least five years’ experience in continuing airworthiness with appropriate knowledge of airworthiness regulations.
- A recognized engineering license with appropriate type rating or an aeronautical degree or equivalent.
- Formal aeronautical maintenance training.
- A position within the approved organisation with appropriate responsibilities
- Good understanding of local air regulations
- Knowledgeable of the General Civil Aviation Authority regulations
Desirable:
- Knowledge in Basic MS Office Programs
- Good Professional Relations with GCAA
- Training & competence with RUSADA
- Training in internet/email services.
- MS office/MS project training.
