The B1.3 Licensed Engineer would be reporting to the Chief Engineer and would be joining a dynamic and progressive Engineering Team. This role is based at Staverton however on occasion, the B1.3 Licensed Engineer may be required to perform line maintenance away from Staverton.

IFE ENGINEER

Coordinate the operation, maintenance, and development of aircraft inflight entertainment (IFE) and cabin management systems (CMS). Ensure the serviceability of related devices, assist in upgrades and modifications, troubleshoot technical issues, and support compliance with operational standards.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Device Management

• Ensure the serviceability and readiness of IFE carry-on devices by cleaning, charging, updating software, and managing subscriptions.

Technical Support

• Assist the Engineering department in maintaining and troubleshooting IFE/CMS systems.
• Provide focused technical support for defect investigations and operational issues related to IFE/CMS systems.

System Documentation

• Support the creation of operational procedures for equipment not covered in the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM).

Content Management

• Coordinate and action periodic updates for content, such as live TV, media downloads, and movie refreshes.

Upgrades and Modifications

Operational Support
