Volantes is supporting a well-established Part-145 maintenance operation at Shannon Airport and is currently recruiting multiple B1 and B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers for ongoing contract work.
This opportunity offers long-term stability within a structured base maintenance environment, supporting heavy maintenance inputs on Boeing 767 aircraft powered by CF6-80 and PW4000 engines.
With a strong volume of work confirmed, we are looking to mobilise experienced engineers who can contribute immediately to base maintenance activity.
Role Responsibilities

Carry out aircraft maintenance, inspections, defect rectification and certification in accordance with EASA Part-145 regulations

Perform B1 and/or B2 scope tasks on airframe, systems, avionics and powerplant

Support base maintenance inputs including heavy checks and scheduled inspections

Accurately complete technical documentation and certify work carried out

Diagnose and troubleshoot technical defects using approved maintenance data

Work collaboratively with planning, production and quality teams to meet maintenance deadlines

Maintain high standards of safety, compliance and workmanship at all times

Candidate Requirements
Essential:
-
EASA Part-66 B1 or B2 Licence

Type Rated and able to show 6 months certifying experience in the last 2 years on the Boeing 767 CF6-80 and/or PW4000 aircraft

Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance documentation (AMM, IPC, SRM, CMM)

Experience working in a base maintenance or MRO environment
Desirable:

Recent heavy maintenance or C-check experience

Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

Flexible, professional approach to contract work

Contract & Allowances

Day Rate: €45 per hour

Night Rate: €46 per hour

Accommodation Allowance: €30 per day

Travel Allowance: €300 per journey
This is an ongoing contract with consistent work available for the right engineers.
