Compliance Monitoring Manager
Volantes Technical Recruitment , a leading recruitment agency specializing in the aviation industry, is excited to present the opportunity for a Compliance Monitoring Manager at our Dublin bases fixed wing client.
Job Purpose
The Compliance Monitoring Manager (CMM) at our client will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the Compliance Monitoring System (CMS), ensuring alignment with IAA, EASA regulations, and company procedures. This role demands a commitment to integrity and independence from operational areas, facilitating effective compliance oversight across all operational activities, including subcontractors.
As a key figure within the organization, the CMM will collaborate closely with the Accountable Manager and the broader Safety, Security & Compliance Team, focused on delivering high standards of regulatory compliance and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee a Compliance Monitoring System that adheres to relevant aviation regulations (IAA, EASA).
- Formulate and manage a comprehensive audit plan, ensuring compliance progress is regularly communicated to key stakeholders.
- Facilitate and supervise both internal and external audits, ensuring effective implementation of corrective actions.
- Maintain collaboration with regulatory bodies, communicating any technical or organizational changes.
- Document and manage compliance activities and ensure all related documentation is up-to-date.
- Provide guidance on regulatory changes and monitor outsourced compliance activities.
- Lead compliance-related projects, setting priorities and ensuring timely completion.

- Support our client’s commitment to environmental sustainability by advocating for minimal environmental impact and identifying improvement opportunities.

- Stay informed of emergency response policies and be ready to act as an ERP representative if required.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Meet the requirements outlined in Regulation (EU) 1321/2014 and approved by the IAA.
- Demonstrate significant experience in compliance monitoring, with expertise in IAA and EASA regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Completion of formal auditor training and experience in conducting compliance audits.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with IATA Operational Safety Audits.
- Familiarity with integrated management systems in aviation.
- Crisis management and emergency response planning experience.
Reporting Lines
- Reports to the CEO and Accountable Manager.
- Interacts with the various departments and external stakeholders, including IAA and EASA representatives.
