Head of Compliance Monitoring
Location: Dublin (Hybrid options available)
We’re looking for an experienced Head of Compliance Monitoring to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of a Compliance Monitoring System (CMS) in line with IAA, EASA, and IOSA requirements. This role ensures that all operational activities, including those of subcontractors, meet regulatory standards and best practices.
You will work independently from operational teams, reporting to the Accountable Manager, providing updates on findings, recommending improvements, and tracking corrective actions. The role also involves facilitating external audits, liaising with regulatory bodies, and keeping the organisation up to date with regulatory changes.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage a compliance monitoring system covering AOC, Part CAMO, and IOSA requirements.

Create and manage the audit plan, ensuring it is approved by relevant postholders and submitted to the IAA.

Oversee internal and external audits, including regulatory, IOSA, and customer audits.

Track audit findings, ensure timely corrective actions, and conduct root cause analysis.

Report regularly on compliance activities to senior management.

Liaise with regulatory authorities on compliance and organisational changes.

Keep procedures, manuals, and related documents up to date.

Communicate regulatory updates to relevant teams and advise on actions needed.

Monitor compliance with contracts for outsourced activities.

Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management.
Regulatory Compliance

Ensure operations meet AOC and Part CAMO requirements under EASA and IAA regulations.

Stay informed on regulatory and IOSA changes and communicate updates internally.

Audit and review contractor compliance systems.
Other Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and healthy work environment in line with legal and company standards.

Maintain knowledge of emergency response procedures and act as an ERP representative if required.
Essential Skills & Qualifications

Meets requirements under Regulation (EU)1321/2014 – AMC1 CAMO.A.305(c) for Head of Compliance Monitoring.

Relevant engineering degree, aircraft maintenance qualification with further education, or equivalent experience.

At least 10 years combined experience in maintenance, airworthiness management, and/or compliance oversight.

In-depth knowledge of IAA and EASA regulations.

Experience with IOSA programmes, audits, and corrective actions.

Proven management experience and ability to lead compliance teams.

Formal auditor training with experience conducting audits.

Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and objectively.
Desirable Skills

Knowledge of Safety Management Systems and integration with compliance monitoring.
