Operations
- Validates the site’s activity schedule with the customer, checks its execution, and where applicable takes corrective actions.
- Manages the distribution of the workforce and workload between the various departments. Ensures the match between capacity and workload on the operational perimeter.
- Ensure all personnel and material are in place to manage the production demand daily.
- Reports regularly to the Business Unit Director on operations and any problems encountered.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Translates the unit’s efficiency targets into indicators suited to the various departments.
- Checks the instructions relative to respect for the environment, and ensures they are applied.
- Guarantees the good traceability of the operational activities.
- Suggest improvement opportunities to the processes and perform corrective actions if any deviation is detected. Analysing and managing non-conformities and their follow-up.
Purchasing
- Supervises and checks the use of materials and consumables per working party, on the site.
Commercial
- Manage on-site customer relationships
- Support the International Commercial team in extending the scope of work with existing customers, in addition to seeking new customers
Facilities
- Ensures full compliance of the site in accordance with Dubai South FZ requirements.
- Supervises all maintenance & servicing throughout the site.
Finance
- Ensures the budget of each job is met, or exceeded in accordance with organisational KPIs
- Supervises the preparation of the data used for invoicing the works.
People
- Supervises the training programmes (tutoring) and skills management on the area.
- Checks the safety and disciplinary rules, and ensures they are applied.
- Lead the full annual appraisal cycle for the whole team, and ensure the same process is disseminated by other managers within the unit.
General
- Organise, develop, and participate in level meetings according to the standards defined by Satys Group.
- Informs all personnel of the directives issued by management and ensures full communication across all parties in the unit (in particular, management reviews).
- Take part in the different management review meetings when required.
- Embeds Satys’ core values across all personnel working within the unit.
- Any other reasonable request as relates to role.
