Helicopter Operations Manager
Volantes Technical Recruitment is seeking a Helicopter Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of ground operations for a leading aviation company in Biggin Hill for a full-time permanent position.
Key Responsibilities include:

Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients, delivering high-quality customer service and managing all operational enquiries.

Safety & Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to safety requirements, company procedures, and applicable aviation regulations.

Flight Coordination: Organise and book flights, ensuring schedules are managed efficiently and on time.

Operational Planning: Supervise day-to-day ground operations, including aircraft handling, logistics, and coordination with flight crews.

Team Leadership: Lead and oversee the ground operations team, offering direction, training, and performance management to maintain high operational standards.

Charter Management: Manage charter helicopter operations, working closely with clients and internal teams to provide a smooth end-to-end service.

Problem Solving: Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively to uphold service quality and client satisfaction.
Required skills and experience:

Strong communication abilities and experience in managing client relationships.

Demonstrated experience in aviation operations or a comparable role within the aviation sector.

Excellent organisational and problem-solving capabilities.

Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and operational compliance.

Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
