Volantes Technical Recruitment, on behalf of our long-term well-established Aberdeen based client have permanent roles available for UKCAA Issued B1.3 & B2 Engineers.
Role Summary
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you would be part of our client’s strong professional maintenance team.
The team are responsible for delivering our multi type fleet of Helicopters to the flight line to help our customers achieve their goals.
Ideally, you will already have either the S92 or H175 Type Rating endorsed on your licence however our client will consider engineers not type rated with a view to enrolling you on the next available type course.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining the required authorisations for aircraft and aircraft components maintained in their area.
- Responsible for the quality of work carried out by themselves and non-certifying technicians under their supervision.
- Responsible for the accurate compilation of documentation and the certification of maintenance carried out within the scope of their authority.
- Ensure that all documentation used during maintenance is of the correct revision status.
- Ensure that they remain current with all amendments to Company Procedures/Manuals and all other relevant technical data provisions.
- Ensure all tools used during maintenance are properly controlled.
- Responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the work areas under their control.
- Must observe employee responsibilities to comply with Health, Safety and Environmental policy within their area.
- Responsible for being familiar with the Company IT systems i.e. AMOS (training of which will be provided as required).
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
- A UKCAA Part 66 Licence.
- An awareness of MSDS and COSHH requirements.
- Be computer literate - experience of AMOS MRO software is preferred but not essential.
- Good Communications skills as the role will be required to communicate internally and externally to persons outside of their discipline, at all levels.
- The ability to work within a team, which may include tasks outside their trade discipline.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism with the ability to work unsupervised.
- Be able to pass a disclosure Scotland check required to obtain an airport security pass.
