Summary
Volantes Technical Recruitment are seeking a Sales Director for a leading OEM aircraft interior client. The succesful candidate is responsible for leading sales efforts for multiple widebody airline customers in the Middle East, with a focus on building strong customer relationships and providing solutions tailored to customer needs. This role requires in-depth knowledge of airline cabin interiors and a customer-first mindset. The Sales Director will identify future customer requirements and lead initiatives to offer a range of cabin interior products, including lavatories, galleys, seats, branding panels, window shades, etc. Additionally, this individual will be instrumental in crafting new customer proposals and overseeing their successful implementation, while also ensuring that ongoing programs are supported effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Builds and maintains relationships with key customer stakeholders, with the intent to fully represent clients customer first mindset

- Staying informed of new technologies and trends in cabin interior design to better anticipate customer needs and position clients products accordingly
- Contribute to the development and execution of clients overall sales strategy, ensuring alignment with customer and clients objectives
- Ability to work with diverse, international teams and customers, with sensitivity to cultural differences and regional business practices
- Takes the lead role in sales activity with specific customers and represents all clients product lines with customers.
- Determines customer requirements and leads customer engagement, including securing and supporting contracts.
- Develops the proposal and coordinates RFQ team requirements. Works closely with RFQ Team to establish and adhere to proposal process schedules, and ensures all proposals are completed accurately and submitted prior to the customer deadlines.
- Upon receipt of LOI/PO from customers, creates sales handoff documents to release internally to Program Management and communicates all information required to proceed with program execution
- Supports development of the marketing plan, forecasting opportunities for product and customer growth.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from a college or university
- This position requires a minimum of seven years of commercial aviation experience with strong knowledge of airline cabin interiors. Direct sales experience in cabin interiors is strongly preferred but similar cabin interiors expertise such as Program Management, Marketing, Contracts will also be considered.
