Job Summary
We are seeking experienced UKCAA B1.3 Licensed Engineers to join our clients team in Aberdeen.
The successful candidate will be responsible for both line and base maintenance of helicopters, ensuring that all work meets regulatory and company standards. Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer, this role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supporting operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Line Maintenance

Carry out maintenance tasks in compliance with all relevant regulations and company M.O.E. procedures.

Ensure all line maintenance is completed within set timescales to provide serviceable aircraft to meet operational demand.

Support variable and flexible work planning and rostering based on business needs to ensure continuity.

Perform daily problem analysis and troubleshooting based on pilot reports and other operational feedback.

Conduct pre-flight checks (PRF) and ensure briefing/debriefing with pilots and the Chief Engineer.

Liaise with supply chain, stores, and support services to ensure required materials, spare parts, and consumables are available when needed.
Provide daily updates on maintenance status to the Chief Engineer.
Base Maintenance

Perform scheduled and unscheduled base maintenance in line with regulations and company procedures.

Deliver maintenance tasks to the required standards and within operational timelines.

Contribute to effective work planning and rostering in collaboration with engineering colleagues.

Provide detailed briefings and updates to the Chief Engineer regarding maintenance progress and issues.

Ensure material and spare parts availability in coordination with supply and support services.

Participate in daily engineering briefings/toolbox meetings.
Skills & Experience Required

UK CAA Part 66 B1.3 License.

Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience as a licensed engineer in aviation (experience across multiple organisations is advantageous).

ICT literate, including aviation-specific software and MS Office.

Professional level of English (written and spoken).

Strong communicator, with the ability to brief/debrief pilots, flight crew, and engineering colleagues, and provide clear shift handovers.

Capable of working independently in less controlled environments, with initiative to resolve issues and complete tasks within timescales.

Logical thinker with a methodical approach to fault-finding and maintenance tasks.

Knowledge and adherence to company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
